Bristol UCU Newsflash, 6th March: Pay and Grade Structure Proposals, General Meeting Next Week & Congress Motions, GS & NEC Elections – Jo Grady Reelected

1) Pay and Grade Structure Proposals

Following our branch Executive Committee yesterday, the University of Bristol branch of UCU has officially approved the University pay and grade structure proposals, proposals ‘negotiated by trade union reps and University/HR officers over the course of October, November, and December, and approved by the University Executive Board‘ in January.

Exec confirmed the result of our branch e-consultation. The member consultation showed just short of 90% approval for approving the proposed changes.
