3. Transgender Awareness Week
Yesterday marked the start of the transgender awareness week. We stand in solidarity with our transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming colleagues and students. While we are all waiting for the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) guidance, supporting our colleagues to the best of our ability is a priority.
We meet regularly with the central EDI team and officers from the Student Union. We welcome any input from our members and if you need support please do contact us.
