From today, Bristol UCU members will be getting their strike ballot papers in the post. This week our Bristol UCU Get The Vote Out operation starts, reminding members to vote before the close of the ballot in October.

Over the course of September and October, your Bristol UCU School, Department or Professional Service Reps will be reminding you to vote.
Only with a strong turnout, a vote to take strike action and a readiness to take strike action when called will UCU be able to action its key demands across UK universities:
- Revoke USS pension cuts
- Sector-wide agreements to reduce casualisation, workload and pay inequality
- A pay rise of RPI inflation +2% or 12%
